ASC Releases Gemini Participant Web Access
LOS ANGELES, CA – January 2004 –
Today ASC launches a web-based retirement account management system for all defined contribution retirement plan types – whether they are valued daily or balance forward.
Utilizing the latest in software and internet technology, Gemini enables the pension administrator to offer clients the most sophisticated in internet accessibility and functionality – while maintaining control of plan data.
Plan participants log onto a site that has the pension administrator’s logo, corporate colors and other branding elements. Yet the website is hosted off-site, so the plan administrator does not incur the expense and logistical challenges of hosting an in-house website.
However, the administrator never relinquishes control of the plan data – plan data remains safe and secure at the administrator’s location. Microsoft’s .NET technology enables the plan data to be sent to the Gemini site, which is branded to look like the administrators site, for viewing by the participant only. No plan data is ever stored at the remote location.

Currently ASC is working on the next addition to the Gemini family – Gemini Plan Sponsor Web Access. This is expected to launch in 2005.
